Assess to Support Limited is a privately owned Supported Accommodation company based in the Hoyland area of Barnsley, South Yorkshire. Assess to Support Limited was established in 2022 committed to providing high quality support for young people that are looked after and leaving care. Assess to Support Limited will accept referrals from young people with Social workers and/or Personal Advisors.

Assess to Support Limited has been established to provide a high standard of accommodation and a supportive environment for Young People aged 16 to 25 years who are vulnerable, looked after and leaving care, homeless, have a learning disability or diagnosis of autism to ensure young people are able to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding in independence skills, self-care skills, life skills and support them in making informed age appropriate decisions, and achieve a positive outcome to independence and adulthood.
Assess to Support Limited strive towards providing young people with secure, reliable accommodation with an appropriate personalised support plan to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the young people. The staff will work with the young people in a restorative way and empower the young people to develop the skills necessary to live independently or progress to achieving greater independence.

Alongside having privacy whilst residing with other young people and support staff. This includes having en-suite bathrooms and lockable bedroom doors.
Assess to Support Ltd value the importance of young people feeling supported and valued in their own right. Assess to Support Ltd strive for young people feeling secure, in order for them to develop and achieve independence due to the support available to them.

The overall aim is to prepare young people as best we can who reside within our properties and assist them in the difficult transition to independence. This includes respecting them, responding to them and to address their personal, social, and cultural needs. We take a strengths-based approach and strive for positive outcomes, whilst advocating for our residents.
